Q. What is your career background that makes you so suited to being an Interpath specialist?
A. "I always had a passion for science, leading me to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree at Deakin University. My path then led me to the Private Pathology sector, where I worked as a Medical Scientist for 7 years. Transitioning into a Sales role with Interpath was a natural progression that aligned with my passion for both science and customer interaction."
Q. Tell us about your role with Interpath? What is your area of expertise?
A. "As the Southern Region Sales Manager, I oversee Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, Western Australia, and Northern Territory. My role involves collaborating closely with Account Managers to ensure optimal customer experiences and outcomes. I'm deeply engaged with Interpath's Brand Partners, facilitating discussions on new products, trends, and challenges. Additionally, I handle Tender responsibilities for the region."
Q. What most do you like about your role and why?
A. "Having been with Interpath for over 16 years, I've had the privilege of gaining insight into various facets of the business. What I cherish most is the opportunity to work closely with customers, ensuring mutual success. Building relationships with both existing and new customers and witnessing the impact of Interpath's value proposition is incredibly rewarding."

A. "Despite the evolving landscape over the years, one constant has been the unwavering respect and partnership from our customers. Interpath's reputation remains robust, reflecting our commitment to excellence and customer-centric approach."
Q. What are some of the challenges the market is facing?
A. "In 2024, we've encountered challenges stemming from the security situation in the Red Sea, impacting freight transit through the Suez Canal. Despite these obstacles, Interpath remains steadfast in ensuring consistent supply to our customers."
Q. What are your main priorities for 2024?
A. "My main priorities revolve around providing unwavering support to my sales team, enabling them to achieve their objectives seamlessly. Additionally, fostering collaborative partnerships with customers through training and technical support remains paramount."
Q. What do you expect the big industry trends to be of 2024?
A. "A notable trend we've observed is the increasing demand for long-term fixed price contracts, driven by global instability. Customers across sectors seek stability amidst uncertainty, prompting a surge in fixed pricing contracts."
Q. What’s the biggest challenge facing the customers in the industry?
A. "Continuity of supply remains a significant challenge, exacerbated by the aftermath of the Covid pandemic. Interpath continuously adapts and enhances internal processes to mitigate potential disruptions, ensuring seamless service delivery."
Q. What’s the biggest lesson you’ve learned over the past 12-18 months?
A. "The enduring loyalty of our customers has been a profound lesson. Despite supply shortages during Covid, customers' unwavering commitment to quality reaffirmed our dedication to delivering excellence."
